David Parker



After a 10 year career as a stills photographer, in 1984 David Parker was asked to shoot the low budget feature “Mr B Says No”, which won a Golden Camera Award at the Chicago Film Festival. “Malcolm” was the first feature film, which he wrote, shot and produced with director Nadia Tass. Since then David has produced or directed “Rikky and Pete”, “The Outsiders”, “The Big Steal”, “Pure Luck”, Ben Elton’s “Stark”, “Irresistible” (2005), starring Susan Sarandon, Sam Neill and Emily Blunt; “The Gates of Hell” (2007); and produced, co-wrote, and shot “Matching Jack” (2010) starring James Nesbitt, Jacinda Barrett and Kodi Smit-McPhee, “John Doe” and “Kath & Kimderella”.

David runs his own production company under the Cascade banner.
